The shower or bathtub filter PRO6K uses the patented filter medium KDF® 55. The so-called "golden sand" contained therein consists of a special high copper and zinc alloy. It reduces and removes chlorine and other contaminants such as iron, arsenic, mercury, sediment, dirt and odors.

The Shower and Bathtub Filter PRO6K reduces and removes chlorine, heavy metals (lead, copper, zinc), dirt, bacteria and microorganisms from the bath and shower water. Chlorine is e.g. an aggressive substance that occurs in small quantities in the shower or bath water. The skin therefore comes in contact with it every day. This may trigger allergic reactions, e.g. unpleasant itching or redness of the skin. This can be prevented by a shower or bath filter.
The simple installation takes place between shower hose and hand shower or between bathroom fitting and your shower hose. The shower filter cartridge made of KDF® material should be replaced every 6 months at the latest. The shower filter fits all commercially available 1/2 '' inch shower or bath fittings. In addition, the calcification in hose and shower head is reduced or prevented. Your shower, bath or tiles are easy to clean.
100% KDF® (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) - The special filter medium KDF® ensures a chlorine removal of well over 90%, inhibits bacterial growth. KDF® filters are able to purify water to a large percentage of chlorine, chloramine, iron, bacteria, algae, fungi, hydrogen sulfide and most heavy metals.

Protection against Legionella

Remedy by replacing your shower head with a Legionella shower head
If you want to be on the safe side, we recommend one of our shower heads, with which you can easily filter out the Legionella. The ultra-fine membrane technology prevents bacteria and Legionella from getting out of the shower head.
The microfilter insert is changed when the pressure decreases or no water is allowed to pass through. It depends on how often is showered and how many sediments are in the water. If the water is extremely dirty, a pre-filter or our Pro6K shower filter should be installed upstream.
