Our drinking water is constantly monitored. Why is a treatment still useful and necessary?
1. The long way of the water from the source to the tap
The water samples for the analyzes are normally. taken in the waterworks. But the way to the households is far. Water can absorb pollutants such as lead, copper, asbestos, bacteria, hormones, drug residues, herbicides, pesticides and other heavy metals. Hormones and drug residues do not need to be tested according to drinking water regulations. The effects of these substances on our organism are dangerous. The less unnatural - toxic - the better. Therefore, we recommend using tap water with a filtering technology, such as to filter an activated carbon block filter and then work up by a water vortex or a water revitalization or Wasserenergetisierung. This will give you a water quality that comes closest to a healthy, vital and "mature" spring water.
2. Not everything that is allowed is healthy
Water is our No. 1 food, but not everything that is allowed is healthy. The Drinking Water Ordinance only ever forms part of the possible pollutants in drinking water. Harmful and ingredient limits are usually compromises between environmental, health or economic factors. Max. 0.1 mg / l copper recommended, but allowed 2 mg / l.
Filtering water is more ecological than buying water
To have a box of mineral water at home, in addition to your physical performance also requires enormous hygienic efforts of the bottler. In addition, when you buy each returnable bottle you pay about 7 liters of water for rinsing, chemicals and detergents, energy for heating the rinse water, paper and glue for labels, closures of metal or plastic and lots of advertising. And not infrequently, the transport of a bottled mineral water, by full and empty transport, 2000 truck-kilometers far - an extreme burden on the environment and unfortunately not always a guarantee of good quality.
Filtering water saves time, money and effort
Your body needs - depending on age and weight - daily 2 liters of liquid, preferably in the form of fresh and pure vital spring water. Co² in mineral water serves as a disinfectant. If you prefer mineral water, it's hard to carry. Those who filter their tap water always get fresh, tasty water - without any effort and much cheaper on top of that: a 4-person household, for example with the FILWATEC® filter concept, can save well over several hundred USD per year if mineral water is not used. In addition, the hiring of the beverage return machine is an issue. Today mineral water is often offered in PET or plastic bottles. This puts a heavy burden on our environment. Did you know that a plastic bottle lasts 500 years in the environment before it rots and degrades?
Do your "onion test". Put a sliced onion next to your PET bottle overnight and let yourself be surprised how your water tastes the next morning!
Filtered water just tastes better
Gourmets know: with filtered water, the taste of tea and coffee does not only come into its own, you simply drink more. When cooking fresh vegetables, the flavors and natural colors are better preserved. Even plants and animals appreciate the benefits of filtered water. For example, we noticed that dogs refuse unfiltered tap water and prefer to drink from natural ponds, puddles, streams.
FILWATEC® filtered water, on the other hand, is very popular for drinking.
